It’s fucking rude and annoying to stand directly in front of an opening subway door while on the platform for many reasons. Firstly, you are deliberately cutting in front of the people who are following etiquette and standing slightly to the side. Secondly, you are blocking the train passengers from being able to exit the train in an orderly and fast manner. Next it increases the possibility of a fight by pissing people off. It also destroys everyone else’s good moods.

So stay the fuck to the side. Don’t cut. And for fuck’s sake wait until EVERYONE is off the train before you rush it.
