Witty one liner: Well if I called the wrong number, why’d you answer?

Offbeat oddity (courtesy of the planner): A dime has 118 ridged around the edge.

I have no idea why I thought the first “witty” one liner was good enough to put in my planner. Now having had to change my phone number and deal with all the odd hour calls from people who think it is still some other person’s number, I don’t think this is funny at all. Having creditors call you though is better than the alternative so I try to be as kind and patient as possible responding to text messages and phone calls, letting people know that J—- has not had this number in over two years.

The quote is definitely my inner sap coming out to play, she’s a wonderful person when I am not choking her with insecurity and cynicism.

The dime factoid just makes me think of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and what it might be like to try and climb over one of those 118 ridges.

In other news I have fallen woefully behind in NaNoWriMo, maybe I can play catch up this weekend : )
