Gone to Seed

She reminds me of a high powered woman who works in my building, if she had gone to seed. She is wearing turquoise satin pants and has a backpack with technicolor cats on it. Her hair is poofy and her bangs fall into her face while the rest is pulled back into a high bun. She has a white t-shirt on with some sort of design that I can’t see. When the train slows down or the conductor announces that we will be running a little late she huffs and looks around for someone to share in her obvious injury by this event. When she pulls out her overheated water bottle the top explodes off of it and she uses this as an excuse to start a conversation with the woman she startled in front of her.

  1. She sounds a little annoying, but fun to watch, haha.

    1. I agree with your statement! Taking that step back and watching people can help remove the edge of extreme annoyance that makes you want to scream. Once I moved into watching mode and out of experiencing her it made her bearable.

      1. Hm. I think you may have given me insight into how not to hate everyone!

      2. Ah! I had wondered where you had gone off to! I plan on having a lazy day on Sunday so I will make a note to take a look at your new blog! I hope that you are doing well and remember that the insight has about a 50-50 or 75-25 chance of working if you have my temperament, but they improve as you use it : D
